Our Story

Founded in 2002, Marathon Orthotics, Inc. became one of the largest custom orthotic laboratories in the United States, in large part due to word of mouth and the superior quality of their products. While the primary business had been highly specialized hand-made custom orthotics, the need for a simple, yet effective off-the-shelf insert was necessary and thus Ped Pillows was born. 

Over the last two decades, Ped Pillows has earned a following by thousands of people- and the reason is no secret; there is simply nothing else like Ped Pillows available on the market. The difference is in the pillow soft, but supportive materials that feel as good after the hundred thousandth step as they do on the first. Regardless of the activity, they are always up to the chore! The success has come not from expensive marketing campaigns but from word of mouth, from one patient to the next, sharing their own positive experience with those around them.  

After a successful run, Marathon closed its doors when it's owner retired in 2022, however this was not the end of the road for Ped Pillows. Twin Cities Insoles was started by those from Marathon who had been involved with Ped Pillows, to ensure that Ped Pillows would be around for the decades to come.
